Black Female Heroes; a leap from Anonymity to Immortality.

If you ask your average person on the street to name a fictional female hero, most people(depending on what street you’re on) can name at least one or two, right? I mean, your average person has heard of Wonder Woman, Bat Girl, and Super Girl…and there was Marvel Comic’s Fantastic Four movie last year with what’s her name? Oh yes, Sue Storm, the Invisible Woman. That was easy, right?

Now, if you were to ask the same person to name a fictional Black female hero?
